About Shivya
Our Narmadeshwar Shivling Story
A Divine Connection from Narmada

Where We Begin
From the banks of the Narmada
SHIVYA began with a simple wish: that every family who longs for a Narmadeshwar Shivling should be able to receive a genuine one, without doubt and without travelling hundreds of kilometres to find it.
Our roots are in Bakawan, a village on the banks of the Narmada in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, famous across India for Narmadeshwar Shivlings. For generations, families here have gathered stones from the riverbed after the monsoon waters recede, and shaped them by hand into Banalingas.
Our artisans choose each stone for its colour and natural markings, then shape and polish it by hand in the traditional Bakawan way, with no dyes, paints or coatings. Every piece is washed in Narmada water and only then packed for its journey to your home.
